It's spring break for many students, and the Northern Lights YMCA in Iron Mountain is offering a kid's spring break camp. A day camp at the Y during spring break gives kids the chance to play and to learn valuable lessons. Tuesday at camp, the kids learned the importance of caring, one of the core values at the Y. The kids say they love coming to camp.
"I like swimming, and I like going into the sky loft up there, because the sky loft, it's really cool because you can see over the pool, and it's like a mini-gym. We had a coloring contest and we made a flower because we have crafts. It's really fun," said camper, Lily Valenti.
The spring break camp runs through Friday and is from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The YMCA will also be offering a similar camp for kids in the summer.
