Tractors, tractors and more tractors. It was the highlight of the steam and gas show at Escanabaâ??s U.P. State Fairgrounds.
The show has been going on for 38 years, and organizers say it grows bigger and bigger every year. On Saturday, close to 400 tractors were being showcased; some of them were even 100 years old.
Not only did those in attendance enjoy checking out the farm machinery, they even used it as transportation around the fairgrounds.
"We like coming here every year because it shows our children all the old ways and how our ancestors grew up working the hard way," said Skandia resident, Gina Wilson.
Organizers say the show helps preserve the past heritage and history of farmers.
