Students find new favorites in old books

Students enjoyed swapping their used books for their classmates?? old favorites.

In honor of Reading Month, Cameron Elementary School is holding their annual book swap.

Prior to the swap, students were encouraged to bring in their gently used books. Each book got them a voucher to pick out some thing different at the swap. Children who did not have book to trade were still able to pick one out thanks to donations from across the U.P.

??I picked the bunny one because I like bunnies,?? said first grader Brooke Coates. ??And, I like the other one because it??s kind of funny??

The swap is taking place for the next two days, giving every class at Cameron the opportunity to find their next favorite book.
