Super One Foods continued a cookout fundraiser for UPAWS Saturday at its Marquette location.
The fundraiser started Friday at Super One's Negaunee location, and just as on Friday the store provided all the labor and food required to help UPAWS's operating needs and keep happy donors satisfied.
UPAWS staff say the food store chain has gotten involved from the bottom up in this event for five years running now.
"It's not just the managers deciding to do this. The staff gets involved, they have a good time. They're encouraging people to come and buy a brat. They've been asking their customers to donate a dollar for their paper paws that are all over both stores." said UPAWS volunteer Karen Rhodes.
Not counting Saturday's proceeds, the fundraiser has raised $3500 for UPAWS.
