A popular restaurant in Chocolay Township will reopen in a few weeks after being closed since last summer.
The restaurant formerly known as â??The Groveâ?? will now be called â??Root 41â??. It has undergone extensive renovations from the actual building to the menu. The new logo also features tree roots to represent the ownerâ??s ties to the community.
â??We all have roots and weâ??re coming together to plant a new venture and grow together on Route 41,â?? said Barbara Tullila, Operations Coordinator.
â??Root 41â?? will now serve breakfast all day, a Friday Fish Fry, and feature fresh, local products. A ribbon cutting ceremony and opening is planned for Fourth of July weekend with an official grand opening in the fall.
