The Bonifas Arts Center held their 43rd annual Waterfront Art Festival in Escanaba on Saturday. The festival brought local musicians, dancers, painters and other artists to Ludington Park. The Bonifas Art Center puts on the festival and raises money from it. This year's festival had a theme of past, present and future and featured industrial art.
"It's a great community event that really makes everybody happy," Executive Director of the Bonifas Art Center Pasqua Warstler said. "We have a lot of local families who do their traditional family reunions this weekend because they know there's something great to do."
The art festival was free to the public and also had food stands and other vendors. The annual event ran from 10AM until 4PM.
