On Friday and Saturday, over 4,000 people will make their way to the Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton to enjoy live music and food.
"I have enjoyed the shrimp and the trout, and my wife and I are from New Orleans and so we miss our seafood a lot. We really get excited about coming to the seafood fest," said Owen Mills.
For the past 27 years, the Houghton Rotary Club has been holding its annual fundraiser. Since 1986, the club has raised over $400,000 with over 600 Rotarians cooking and volunteering their time.
All of the money raised goes back into the community, mainly helping people in need.
This year's live music came from multiple artists including the Flat Broke Blues Band and the Outlaws.
"I love being able to play here. I love playing for the people, the food, and the nice weather," said Mark Lucier, drummer for The Outlaws.
The event continues Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight with tickets starting at $10.
