Michigan Department of Transportation officials report that a three vehicle crash occurred Monday morning on the US-2 bridge over Ford River west of Escanaba.
According to officials, an SUV rear ended a pickup truck, which then rear ended a second SUV. This incident occurred around 10 a.m. Traffic was redirected for about 45 minutes while officials were clearing the accident site.
The bridge was experiencing lane closures prior to the crash for maintenance. The lane closures will run Monday and Tuesday.
The woman driver of the first SUV was reported to have minor wrist injuries. No other injuries were reported.
