      Tip leads to meth arrest in Ironwood

      A tip from a concerned citizen in Ironwood has led to the arrest of a Minnesota man on drug charges. Ironwood Public Safety responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Longyear Park on June 19.

      After interviewing 21-year-old Dylan Mackenzie Quigley-Robinson of Hutchinson Minnesota, he was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.

      Police say they obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and seized 50 grams of crystal meth with a street value of approximately $10,000. Police also seized cash and marijuana.

      Quigley-Robinson is being held in the Gogebic County Jail on a $45,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
