The driver of a tractor trailer suffered minor injuries after losing control of the vehicle and hitting a guard rail on the Days River Bridge near Gladstone. The accident happened at 2:30 a.m. Thursday on M-35.
According to Gladstone Public Safety, the 51-year-old Gwinn man driving the truck was southbound when he lost control. The truck came to rest next to the Brampton Fire Hall. The trailer was filled with wood chips. Officials say the wood chips did not spill onto the highway.
The driver sought his own medical treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
