The 51st Annual U.P. Trappers and Outdoor Expo wrapped up Saturday at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba.
About 3,000 people stopped by during the two-day event. There were dozens of vendors including trappers, gun dealers, and quilters.
The expo is a way for vendors to sell their supplies and share knowledge with others about trapping.
"We actually do it for a living. It is part of life; money making efforts are put into that. We want other people to be as successful and enjoy the outdoors and trapping experience as much as we have," said Ron Leggett.
Next year the national trappers convention will be held at the U.P. State Fairgrounds.
