The Michigan State Police located a marijuana growing operation worth over $121,000 after a trooper noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside a residence.
MSP troopers executed a search warrant for the home in the village of Channing on Wednesday afternoon, discovering a grow operation with a street value in excess of $121,500. The search warrant was obtained after a trooper noticed the marijuana smell while contacting a suspect on parole violation.
Troopers seized the growing and processing equipment. The suspect was lodged in the Dickinson County Jail, pending arraignment.
