Two Hurley, Wisconsin residents were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop at 11:48 p.m. on Thursday night.
According to the Michigan State Police, a 27-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were arrested after being stopped for a traffic violation in Ironwood Township. Police say that several items of drug contraband were found within the vehicle, including components for a meth lab.
The man that was driving the vehicle is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and operating under the influence of drugs. The woman is being charged with possession of methamphetamine and manufacture of methamphetamine.
Both suspects were taken to the Gogebic County Sheriff's Department.
