The Gwinn Area School Board is still looking for someone to lead the district.
The search continued Thursday for a new Superintendent.
They held a special meeting to discuss the candidates.
They are down to two finalists, Maryann Boddy from Iron Mountain, and Drew Milliron from Posen, a town in the northern Lower Peninsula.
"At this point, we haven't come to a final conclusion. We're going to do some more double checking on both of them," said Gloria Bigelow, School Board President for the Gwinn Area Public Schools.
The new Superintendent will replace Dr. Steven Pierson, who has been serving as Interim Superintendent since last year.
His term ends July first of this year.
The board will meet again on Monday April 14th.
