A three vehicle crash on US-41 in Marquette Township sent two people to the hospital. It happened at 4:10 Friday afternoon between Erickson and Bancroft Streets.
State Police say a car driven by 64-year-old Bonnie Lindberg of Skandia pulled out onto US-41 in front of two vehicles. She was hit by a minivan driven by 44-year-old Leonard Holm of Marquette.
Lindberg also crashed into another vehicle driven by 23-year-old Andrew Koepp of Marquette.
Lindberg and her passenger, 48-year-old Lorraine Schaaf of Gwinn, were seriously injured and taken by ambulance to Marquette General. Holm and Koepp were not injured.
Lindberg was found to be at fault for failing to yield to oncoming traffic. Police say alcohol was a factor in the accident. It remains under investigation.
