A traffic stop early Monday morning in the City of Ironwood resulted in the seizure of marijuana and pills packed for delivery and the arrest of two men.
The Michigan State Police reports that a traffic stop on US-2 near Lake Street resulted in the discovery of marijuana and pills that were allegedly packaged for delivery. Police from the Wakefield Post pulled the vehicle over and when troopers approached the vehicle, they smelled the scent of marijuana.
One man was arrested for possession with intent to deliver, along with resisting and obstructing a police officer, according to the MSP. A second suspect was also arrested on a charge of possession with intent to deliver.
Both men are being held in the Gogebic County Jail, pending arraignment.
