There will be no trial for two Alger county men facing drug charges.
David Gumuski of Munising and Keith Anderson of Christmas reached a plea agreement before their trial that was scheduled to get underway Tuesday. They both pled guilty to possession meth/ecstasy and being four time habitual offenders. They were originally charged with operating a meth lab near a school, residence or business.
They'll be sentenced September 22. The men were arrested after a search warrant of a home on Superior Street in Munising uncovered an active meth lab.
A third defendant in the case, Fred Hunt of Munising, has already been sentenced to two and a half to twenty years in prison.
