Two arrests were made for methamphetamine charges in northern Wisconsin on Monday.
Officials say that a drug investigation by the Northeast Tri-County Drug Enforcement Group led to the arrest of a 29-year-old Oconto, WI male for delivery of methamphetamine. He is lodged in Marinette County Jail pending formal charges.
Law enforcement officers then went to a residence in the Town of Little River in Oconto County to follow up on the arrest. There, they found evidence of manufacturing meth, and arrested a 39-year-old female. She is being lodged in Oconto County Jail pending formal charges.
Assisting in the investigation were Marinette County Sheriff's Office, Marinette Police Department, Menominee County Sheriff's Office, Oconto County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation.
