Two suspects arraigned on drug charges

The man who allegedly pointed a gun at a motorist last week in Delta County has been arraigned.

Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew Scott Weber of Manistique is charged with conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon, and felony firearm.

His passenger at the time was also taken into custody and arraigned last week. She has been identified as 21-year-old Khrisstiey Schnurer of Gulliver. She was charged with conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, possession of analogs, and marijuana.

The two were arrested on February 3 while driving on US-2 in Rapid River. Weber had allegedly pointed a hand gun at another motorist, which led to his being pulled over a short time later by Michigan State Police troopers.

Both are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 15 in Delta County District Court.
