A Negaunee woman was arrested on Wednesday night by Toledo, Ohio police officials after two bank robberies in the West Toledo area.
Ashley Elvetici, 21, was taken into custody at 10 p.m. at a motel by the FBI's Northwest Ohio Violent Crime Task Force and was charged with two robberies.
The first robbery Elvetici was charged with happened on January 26. Officials say a woman handed a note to the teller at a Charter One Bank and received an undisclosed amount of money. The second robbery occurred at 9:07 a.m. on Wednesday at a KeyBank. She allegedly handed a bank teller a note, demanding money.
Elvetici was spotted leaving both scenes in a green Ford Taurus, according to officials. There was no weapon used in the alleged robberies.
Elvetici is currently in the Lucas County Jail.
