State Representative John Kivela announced Thursday the passage of Senate Bill 780, which concerns the Natural Resources Trust Fund.
Multiple projects were included in the bill, aimed at development and land acquisition in the Upper Peninsula.
"I am happy to know that so many wonderful projects will have the funding they need to see success in House District 109," said Kivela.
Kivela added that he's happy to see communities getting what they need to thrive. The list of projects can be found below.

Alger County? Munising Bay Mountain Bike Trailhead development project? Munising Tourist Park Campground improvement project
Schoolcraft County? Manistique River Waterfront North Lot land acquisition? Manistique River Waterfront Lot US-2 land acquisition? Manistique River Waterfront Elk St. land acquisition
"Each of these projects will allow U.P. residents to better enjoy the many natural wonders and resources we are surrounded by," Kivela said. "I look forward to the completion of each project and urge all residents to take advantage of all our area has to offer."
