      Upper Michigan residents powerless amid snow storm

      Over 1,600 Upper Michigan residents were without power Friday afternoon as a spring storm hit the Upper Peninsula.

      According to the Upper Peninsula Power Company's website, some residents in Iron River, Ishpeming and Houghton were without electricity. This was the result of 15 separate outages in the Upper Peninsula.
