Upper Michigan woman heads to Illinois for murder trial

An Iron County woman wanted for a cold case murder that dates back to 1979 has waived extradition to Illinois.

Sixty-six-year-old Jacquelyn Greco of Crystal Falls was arrested earlier this year and was being detained in the Iron County Jail.

The murder charge comes from Cook County, Illinois. Details on the case have not been released yet, but Greco will be taken to Illinois on either Monday or Tuesday.

The Illinois State Attorney's Office is expected to pursue the case.
