Tue, 05 Oct 2010 09:38:10 GMT — An Escanaba man, arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) over the weekend, could face up to 14 years in prison on multiple felony drug charges. Forty-two-year-old James Keane was arraigned in Delta County District Court Monday morning and charged with five counts of delivery of a controlled substance, mainly involving prescription drugs. Two of the charges are second offenses, which could possibly double his prison time. The alleged crimes date all the way back to May of 2009. Keane's preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 14. His bond was set at $20,000 cash.
