Looking for a new book? Consider an eco-friendly option. The Escanaba Public Library is holding their annual used book sale.
Taking place in the Escanaba City Hall Council Chambers, a bag of books can be purchased for $3 and magazines are $1 per bundle.
Some of the books come from the libraryâ??s personal collection, while many of them are donated.
This yearâ??s highlights include Michigan history titles, and specially priced vintage and out-of-print items.
The book sale will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a preview sale Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. where the books can be purchased at the regular used prices.
The sale is put on by the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library, a non-profit organization whose members volunteer to support the work of the library.
