Walk around the world takes 22 years

A Norway man finally completed a goal after more than 22 years.

Randy Champagne began his worldwide voyage back in 1990 of walking the distance around the world's equator...over 24,000 miles. He was inspired to get in shape after his dad passed away with diabetes and was looking for a stress reliever.

"Anybody that has a stressful job, I would say to them do something and exercise, whether it's swimming, going to the gym, running or walking like I did," said Champagne.

Champagne started his journey at 42 years old and finished it this year at the age of 70. He also went through 22 pairs of shoes in his quest.
