Over 650,000 people participated in the national Right to Life walk last year in Washington.
In Iron Mountain Sunday afternoon, over 100 people of all ages participated in the annual Walk for Life event.
Sponsored by the Dickinson County Right to Life, the walk began at the Braumart Theater and ended at Hardeeâ??s.
"What we're saying is the unborn child also has a right, a right to live, and we feel that there's enough people who want to adopt children that we shouldn't have to worry about aborting these children," said Dennis Bal.
The walk is a peaceful demonstration that protests the Supreme Court ruling of Roe vs. Wade. The event is held every year to coincide with the day the decision on the case was made.
