The Iron Mountain Police Department have now arrested one suspect they believe is connected to several incidents of retail fraud from Walmart dating back to October 2013.
Just before 11 p.m. Tuesday the Iron Mountain Police Department received a call from Walmart in reference to believed fraud suspects who were in the store.
Once on the scene authorities spotted 24 year old Steven Gerow of Norway fleeing the scene on foot. Gerow would be arrested a short time later; however a second suspect was able to flee before officers arrived.
Upon further investigation authorities were able to find several thousands of dollars worth of stolen merchandise within a Norway residence.
Gerow is being charged on two counts of first degree fraud and one count of second degree fraud.
He is currently lodged at the Dickinson County Correctional Center on $10,000 bond.
Gerow is scheduled to be in court for a preliminary examination on July 8th.
