The State Police is alerting the public about a new phone scam.
The callers are pretending to be I.R.S agents telling their victims they owe back taxes money. These callers are very demanding and threaten the victims with arrest if they do not comply. The callers have middle-eastern accents and speak poor English.
Do not give out any personal information (social security number, bank numbers, etc) over the phone. Contact police if you've received these types of calls.
