This Saturday at Bell Hospital in Ishpeming, it is all about women.
That's because it's the fifth annual Women's Health Expo. The free expo will offer informational sessions on nutrition, exercise, and stress management. With 400 women already registered, the goal of this event is to also teach women about heart and breast health.
"We think that women are the primary decision makers regarding health care in the home, and so anything that we can do to put information and access care in their hands is an important step as a community-based hospital," said Vice President of Organizational Development, Ruth Solinski.
The expo is this Saturday and it will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you're interested in the event, the hospital would like you to register online.
