The annual midsummer bonfire at Agate Beach in Toivola was held Saturday in conjunction with FinnFest. The event got started around 6 p.m. and the fire was lit around 10 p.m.
The wood for the fire stands over 15 feet high and is right on the beach.
There was also live music and traditional Finnish dancing as well as food served.
The bonfire is held every year on this weekend at Agate Beach to celebrate the summer.
