The six winning numbers for Saturday night's $600 million Powerball jackpot will be drawn at 10:59 p.m.
As they say, you have to play if you want to win, but the odds of winning are 1 in 175 million. Those odds are not stopping millions of people from buying a two dollar ticket.
Tickets can be purchased in 43 states including Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
TV6 asked a couple of locals what they would do with $600 million.
"First, I'd probably pay off all my school loans and get my parents a new house and a new car. I'd definitely surprise my girlfriend with a trip to Paris," said Daniel Sackmann.
On our TV6 and FOX UP Facebook page, Joy Bloom said, "Pay off everything, buy a place in the Caribbean, and start giving it away."
The last winning ticket sold in the U.P. was at the Festival Foods in Houghton back in February. The Mega Millions ticket that was sold was worth $19 million.
The official results of the winning ticket will not be in until Sunday.
