Thanksgiving--It's one of the many holidays of the year revolving around food.
Foods like pumpkin pie, stuffing, and turkey are all staples for this holiday.
Turkey is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Thanksgiving. According to newsplex.com, approximately 280 million turkeys are sold for the celebration each year.
For those of you struggling to make the perfect turkey, Maggie Mahoney, Food and Beverage Director of the Holliday Inn Marquette said, "â?|cook the turkey upside down. The juices from the dark meat then will run into the white meat and you'll never have a dry turkey."
While turkey is very popular, it's not the only favorite on the menu.
Rutabagas, cranberries, sweet potatoes, and mashed potatoes also made the list.
Not everyone agrees on a dessert of choice, but the majority of people I spoke to said that their favorite was pumpkin pie, which also happens to be my favorite.
