Getz's Clothiers in Marquette was recently mentioned by President Obama as an example of how technology is helping businesses all over the nation.
Employees at the clothing store say they are excited to get such high recognition for something they see as a necessity.
Getz's was mentioned in Presidents Obama's February 26 White House video blog regarding businesses using technology and his plan for the future.
And although they say it's great to have the president mention their business in his plan for the future, they felt they needed to expand for their customers.
"We needed to expand distribution, you know, we need to sell outside of the area, and it has allowed us to create a much better shopping experience for local people and a great experience for people online as well," said John Spigarelli, V.P. Getz's E-Commerce.
Since implementing their online sales, Getz's need for staff has doubled and sales have been up.
