The Marquette Commons will offer a Farmer's and Artisan's Market almost every Saturday until the end of the year.

No matter what the weather, sellers will give the public a chance to buy local goods. The market offers clothing, accessories, and baked goods.

Charles DeVooght and his girlfriend, Miriam, own a farm in Skandia and plan on selling their goods at the market. DeVooght said being a farmer takes a lot of work.

"It's seven days a week; you do it all day long and you never just get to say no, I'm not going to do that. We enjoy watching things grow and we enjoy coming to the market and talking to people. They're always excited about what we grow," said DeVooght.

A majority of the market will take place inside the Commons.

      The market is open Saturdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Nov. 2, 9, 23 and 30, Dec. 7, 14 and 21, 2013.
