      Woman cited for driving too fast after crash

      A 24-year-old female driver lost control of her vehicle, crossed the center line and hit another vehicle on Sunday.

      The crash happened in Ishpeming just before 2:30 p.m., on County Road 476, near Saginaw Street.

      The Ishpeming Police Department said the 24-year-old driver, who lost control, was in a Dodge pickup truck.

      She was cited for driving too fast and driving with a suspended license.

      The driver of the Chevy Blazer was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

      Police said the crash is still under investigation.
