      Woman pleads no contest in construction zone hit and run

      The woman who allegedly hit a construction worker while intoxicated pled no contest.

      34-year-old Andrea Drawski of Quinnesec pled no contest to operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .17 or more and failure to stop at a personal injury accident. She will be sentenced August 21 at 2:30 p.m.

      Drawski was arrested July 10 after Michigan State Police trooper witnessed her hit a construction worker on US-2. The victim, 54-year-old Kenneth Thompson of Saginaw, was released from Dickinson Memorial Hospital following treatment of his injuries.
