      Women learn healthy habits

It was a ladies-only event Saturday at Bell Hospital. Hundreds of women showed up for the four-and-a-half hour health expo.

The event offered a free cooking demo, massages, and health screenings.

Organizers of the event say their goal is to help women understand why it is so important to take care of themselves. The event also gave women information on how to live a healthy lifestyle.

For some women, it was their first time attending the event.

"At my age, I think it's wonderful to come to a facility like this. They offered so many wonderful programs. I've had bone density, I've had blood pressure, I've had so many good experiences. My massage was awesome, and everybody's so friendly. I recommend it to anybody next year," said Ann Marie Tassone.

The Women's Health Expo is in its fifth year.
