The stages are set for the annual Woodtick Festival in Hermansville Thursday. More than 30 musical acts will be performing at the festival. They'll be playing a wide range of styles including bluegrass, folk and blues music. Organizers have lined up camping, food and, of course, the entertainment for the event.
"It's going to be a fun time. It's all day music; you can get up and dance and drink and eat, and there's camping, so people make a whole weekend out of it and go camping," said Monica Giles, lead singer in the band Harbortown, who will be performing at this year's festival. "You get to listen to great music and eat good food and just have fun."
This is the 20th year for the Woodtick Festival. A few prizes will also be given away including a Neville guitar and a couple of getaway vacations. The event starts Thursday at 5 p.m. and runs through Sunday.
