A group of young professionals from across the Upper Peninsula gathered in Marquette to network and learn some insights on enhancing their careers.
It's the second annual conference for members of Forty Below.
The group started off with a speed networking exercise, meeting new people and collecting as many business cards in less than two minutes.
The group also learned how to be a better employee, coworker, and have a better attitude. Speakers emphasized the importance of turning that initial connection into relationships which could benefit you in the long run.
"I think it's important as we are the leaders and the futures of our community," said Ryan Nummala of Forty Below. "It is a great way for all of us to come together earlier in our career and learn how to do business together and learn from each other."
More than 100 people are currents members of Forty Below. They hope to start having more network gatherings yearly.
