POLL - Federal Funding for Signage
A new Federal mandate could cost some U.P. cities thousands of dollars.
The Federal Government is requiring cities, nationwide, to install reflective street signs. Each sign costs about $40, so in a city like Iron Mountain, it could add up to be several thousand dollars.
The Feds will not, however, give any funding for the signs.
Tonight in the Daily Pulse, we're wondering your thoughts on the issue: The Federal Government is requiring cities spend money to replace signage. Should the Feds pitch in to help financially? Yes or no?
