This Saturday, teams across the league worked to trim down their rosters to 53 players. Former NMU offensive lineman Jace Daniels is among the players cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
There is still hope. Daniels has officially agreed to be part of the Buccaneers practice squad. The Escanaba native will be joining cornerback Deveron Carr, wide receiver Chris Owusu, tight end Danny Noble, offensive tackle Mike Remmers, linebacker Ka'lial Glaud, and defensive tackle Matthew Masifilio on that practice squad.
While Daniels was with the Wildcats, he anchored a strong offensive line. He was also named to the All-GLIAC first team last year.
