Michigan Tech has added defenseman Cliff Watson to its hockey roster for 2013-14. The Appleton, Wis., native was a sixth-round selection by the San Jose Sharks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.Watson played the previous two seasons with the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League. He had eight assists in 58 games in 2011-12 before contributing three goals and eight assists in 2012-13. The 6-2, 200-pound blue liner amassed a plus-minus rating of plus 10 in 62 games a year ago.With the addition of Watson, Michigan Tech's roster is now set for the upcoming season with 29 players including 17 forwards, nine defensemen and three goaltenders. The Huskies season opens Oct. 5 vs. Laurentian.
