With great anticipation and excitement the Northern Michigan University football program and head coach Chris Ostrowsky have released details for the third-annual NMU Football Golf Outing, which will be held June 21, 2014 at the NMU Golf Course. Fans and sponsors are encouraged to sign up and reserve their spots.
Coach Ostrowsky and his staff will be on hand for a fun day of golf and football as the Wildcats continue to prepare for the upcoming season.
The golf outing will feature four-person teams in a scramble format. Cost is $100 per golfer or $80 for golfers under the age of 18. Each player will receive 18-holes of golf and a cart, complimentary refreshments on the course, lunch during registration, dinner following the outing and will be eligible to win special prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt.
Each team member should register separately and a team may submit their forms together but each player is responsible for their own fee.
Non-players can attend the after golf awards dinner for $40 per person. Check-in for the event is at 9 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start for the event.
NMU also has a number of options available for sponsorships for the event. The "Hear the Roar Sponsor" package is available for $2,500 and includes prominent recognition throughout the event, a golf foursome, lunch and dinner, four Nike NMU football polo shirts, four tickets to the first NMU football home game and public recognition at a home football game.
