The Green Bay Packers have announced their plans for the ninth annual Tailgate Tour. Five stops will be made; the first two will be in the Upper Peninsula.
On Tuesday, April 15, the Packers will visit the Ruth Butler Building at the UP State Fairgrounds in Escanaba.
The following day, the bus will travel to the Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort in Ironwood.
Tickets will be available starting February 28.
General admission tickets are $5, tailgate party tickets are $30. General admission tickets will not be available at the Ironwood stop.
For the Escanaba stop, tickets will be sold at the Island and Resort Casino in Harris. In Ironwood, tickets will be sold at Super One Foods on Cloverland Drive.
Packers who are expected to be attending include President and CEO Mark Murphy, players Jarrett Bush, Brad Jones and Mason Crosby, plus former Packers, Paul Coffman, Lynn Dickey and James Lofton.
The other stops will be in Superior (April 17) , Rice Lake (April 18) and Merrill, Wisconsin (April 19).
The parties will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. local tine.
Proceeds will benefit Lakestate Industries and the Ironwood Volunteer Fire Department.
