Packers' Rodgers out after hurting left shoulder

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been knocked out of Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears with an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.

Rodgers was hurt when he was sacked from behind by Bears defensive end Shea McClellin after scrambling right on third-and-8 at the Bears 9 with 12:38 to go in the first quarter. The injury was to his left shoulder.

A trainer looked at Rodgers' upper body on the bench. Rodgers took a few tosses on the sideline, then was attended to again before running inside Lambeau Stadium for more evaluation.

Rodgers hasn't missed a game because of injury since Dec. 19, 2010, when he had a concussion.
