Head coach Walt Kyle has announced the early signing of two players for the 2014-15 season. Jordan Klimek and Marshall Donald will be added to the Northern Michigan University hockey team.

"We are excited about the addition of these guys to our 2014-15 line-up. They will have big shoes to fill in replacing our outgoing seniors, but we fully expect them to step in and be impact players for us," said head coach Walt Kyle.

Klimek is a 5-10 defenseman from Langley, British Columbia and currently plays for the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints. He has played in 12 games so far this season, tallying six assists for six points. Prior to the Saints, Kilmek spent two seasons with the Surrey Eagles (BCHL), where he played in 60 games, scoring six goals and 19 assists for 25 points. Klimek is also the nephew of Wildcat hockey alumnus John Goode who played for the Wildcats from 1985-1989 and was the team captain in the 1986-87, '87-88, and '88-89 seasons.

Donald is a 6-1 defenseman from Edmonton, Alberta and is in his fourth season with the Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL). He has played in 112 games in his career with the Crusaders, scoring nine goals and recording 31 assists for 40 points.
